Customer Challenge:
Lowering and installation of 16 suction anchors for APL at the Neptune Deep Water Port Project (DWPP). Due to the suction anchor’s hydrodynamic properties, it was required to reduce the dynamic loads in the splash zone.
Cranemaster Solution:
A Cranemaster unit with SWL of 400 metric tons and 4,3 meter stroke.
The Results:
The operation took place in Massachusetts bay at 80 meters water depth. The Cranemaster unit successfully reduced the dynamic loads in the splash zone.
