Based on solid experience on suction bucket foundation installation challenges, Cranemaster was recently involved to support on a met mast removal.

Dynamic peak loads, potentially exceeding the maximum crane capacity when getting the foundation through the splash zone was a significant challenge in this offshore lifting operation. Cranemaster’s lifting engineering specialists worked closely with various project stakeholders.

For the operation, two robust 700T Cranemaster units were applied in parallel between the hook and the load.

The operation went as planned and confirmed the lift engineering findings. As such, the lifting operation could be carried through without any delays caused by weather or other disruptions.

We are proud to have been involved in this project, which expands our track record for an important project within decommissioning and offshore renewables, which is expected to be a major growth area in the years to come.
